Project Sponsored ACT-UPMC's Joe Papp
is #1 in USCF Rankings
|
|
ACT-UPMC's
team captain Joe Papp is currently the top-ranked
rider in the United States Cycling Federation's
Road Race Rankings for Category 1 men. "I'm
very happy to have topped the rankings," says
Papp, who in 2004 was one of the most consistent
elite amateurs racing in the USA. "Although
it's not the same as leading the NRC standings,
it's still recognition for all the work the
team and I did this past season."

be held from February 8th to the 20th. He will lead

The Vuelta a Cuba has been a principle race for the
ACT-UPMC team since it because the first American
squad ever to compete in the event in 2002. The following
year, Todd Herriott won the overall general classification
and Papp claimed two stages. In 2004, Kyle Wamsley
also won a stage for ACT-UPMC. |
