For
the third year in a row, triathlon legend Chris McCormack
has won Ironman Australia, one of the world`s best-known
triathlon events - and he did it wearing Rudy Project
Technically Cool Eyewear.
This
stunning victory was magnified by the fact that Athletes
wearing the famous Italian manufacturer’s Rudy
Project eyewear won 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th
places.
Belinda
Granger`s spectacular performance in the women’s
event ensured an incredible 2nd place for Rudy Project,
and Kate Major was third.
Greg
Rule, president of Rudy Project Australia, told us,
"I can assure you - and I’m not kidding -
that at least 50% of the 1.600 competitors at Ironman
Australia`s starting line were wearing Rudy Project
Technically Cool Eyewear - a fantastic sight!"
Ironman
Australia is the only Australian qualifying event for
the prestigious Ironman Triathlon World Championships
in Kona, Hawaii.
"We
had a stand at the event`s Expo where the public could
try our range of technical and fashion eyewear, and
that, too, was a runaway success. For three days, we
were literally inundated with enquiries and we picked
up some invaluable tips from competitors and enthusiasts,"
Rule concluded.
It`s
a fact that Rudy Project sunglasses have dominated the
world triathlon scene for over three years.
Thanks to Rudy Australia`s and Rudy America`s support,
over 2,000 of the world`s top triathlon contestants
are Rudy Project athletes.
To
name just a few: Michellie Jones, Chris McCormack, Peter
Robertson, Craig Walton, Simon Thompson, Belinda Granger,
Luke Bell, Barb Lindquist, Joanna Zeiger, Becky Gibbs,
Siri Lindley, Laura Reback, Matt Reed, Paul Amey, Spencer
