Winning with one Athlete can even be easy. Dominating is not for everyone!

The presence of the Rudy Project athlete at the recent centennial Tour de France was impressive! Over 200 racers or 32% of the riders in the Tour wore the famous Technically Cool Eyewear glasses made by the Italian Company.

The results were incredible.

Jan Ullrich (Bianchi Team) with Rudy Project Helmet and Glasses returned to the top level in the world ratings with an unbelievable victory in the Time Trial stage of Gaillac beating Lance Armstrong by as much as 1 minute and 36 seconds at an incredible average speed of 48.178 km/h. Jan also had the opportunity to test, in Tour de France, the revolutionary new glasses that will be available starting in the next season. Ketyum™ (this is the name of the new eyewear) is made of Kynetum®, a special aeronautical alloy. The R&D Dpt. at Rudy Project has succeeded in combining Magnesium, Titanium and Silicium to obtain a product that is extremely light and comfortable.

The second place held by Ullrich in the general classification after an extenuating battle with Lance Armstrong excited millions of fans all over the world and kept the interest high until the last days.

Baden Cooke (Fdj Team) won the prestigious Green Jersey of the points classification wearing Rydon™ glasses. This Jersey rewards the best sprinters in Tour. In each stage points are attributed during the intermediary sprints and at the finish. Classification is calculated by addition of the points.
Richard Virenque (Quick Step Team) won the Red Polka Dot jersey as the best mountain climber in the Tour for the sixth time wearing Freeon™ glasses.
Denis Menchov (IBanesto.com) was the best young racer of the Tour winning the white jersey, wearing Ekynox SX™ glasses. This Jersey rewards the rider aged under 25 best placed in the general classification.
In addition to these prestigious jerseys, we should not forget the 7 Stages won by:
Flecha (IBanesto.com)
Ullrich (Team Bianchi)
Knaven (Quick Step)
Cooke (Team Fdj)
Lastras (IBanesto.com)
Virenque (Quick Step)
Piil (Team CSC)

It is clear from these numbers that Rudy Project is the world leader, at the present time, in the world of Professional bicycle road racing.

"It was an exhausting Tour but an unforgettable one" – declared Ivan Parolin, promoter of Rudy Project – with our service of assistance to the Teams we had to drive all night several times to guarantee our presence at the start of every stage and in the Teams Hotels after the day`s race. "At the tour we had as many as 7 teams to look after, including Rabobank, Ibanesto.com, Team Bianchi, Quick Step, Team Telekom, Team Bianchi, Team CSC. The hot, sunny days with suffocating heat alternated with rain and sudden changes in the lighting were a real challenge to our skill but we disposed of as many as 11 different lens colors and 10 models of Eyewear, so we were able to overcome every problem". These tests enable us to perfect our products and introduce new technologies for our clients, so that is why we are focusing more on this type of activity.
